the content looks too small at constrained but not too constrained widths #177

in the way it is right now, with the obligatory margins on the site, the site starts looking too constrained when it's smaller than like 1260px of width, and it looks like that until it gets to 767px width, where the sidebars disappear and the mobile mode turns on. i never used the grid thing that is used for these margins, so i don't know exactly how to fix this, but my suggestion of how it should behave is that the margins cannot be the cause of making the content smaller than [whatever is the number that balances this well], if they would end up causing let the margins shrink.
