If you make a ~/Developer folder, it gets a hammer on it, and a hammer icon if you drag it to your sidebar in the Finder. So obviously that's where I keep my code now.

Apparently introduced in Big Sur, via Reddit, but still seems to be a TIL for a lot of people.

Turns out, MacOS Customization is basically dead, if you want to go down a rabbit hole of other folder icons.
