8## Fetching Remote Mail

12Go to _Settings -> Migration_

14Below the option to import mail, you have two options: **Keep fetching mail from your other inbox**, and **Set up sending from your other address**. Check both of these boxes, then click **Do it**.

16Note that mail is not synced as it would be with a client like Thunderbird. Fastmail fetches the message only. Read, unread, archive, and delete statuses do not carry over to Fastmail, or back to your external account.
