A discussion on “front facing” projects that can find funding and sponsorship directly, be underlying dependencies that find it a challenge of awareness. 

Front facing projects should be “forwarding” sponsorships on to their dependencies. GitHub Sponsors makes this extremely inefficient / expensive of tax overhead.
