Kagi uses DuckDuckGo's bangs, however, they are entirely open-source and allow for collaboration from its users: https://github.com/kagisearch/bangs. Maybe potentially worth using these instead, as they are kept up-to-date far quicker than DDG's?

I do actually! I thought I specified it in the readme but it gets updated every day from kagi's repo :)
