[Possible Bug] Submodules in the repo root directory might become push target if repo is empty while submodules are locally present in the file tree #168

Steps: Manually copied the files over from another local repo from github (in the copy process the submodules got pasted in the root directory) swapped the .gitmodules definitions to tangled while the main repo was still empty and before any commit

git remote -v gave back the correct origin a push to origin main > lead to a push to the first in alphabetical order submodules instead of the main repo git remote -v throws no origin error
