After registering with tngl.sh, I couldn't find the option to set a profile picture in the user profile. Is a bsky.social account required to upload an avatar?

Thanks for your help! I'm looking forward to the avatar upload feature in future updates. I think it's really important for personalization.

One of the hacky workaround I did for @bots.recaptime.dev (our service account at @recaptime.dev for setting up GitLab repository mirroring) is that I log in to the Bluesky Social webapp (just point the PDS/hosting service to https://tngl.sh server) and edit profile to add/update the profile picture. It may take a while to propagate to other apps but it worked.

For the moment, yes. We haven’t invested much time into profiles—in theory this should be very easy to add! We’d just need a form to upload an image to the users PDS as a blob, and serve it up from our CDN.
