I use QuietScrobbler which batches a bunch of plays and submits them all at once, so when piper fetches it, it usually misses plays if it submitted like more the 3 plays at once.
Maybe we could traverse Last.fm history to see the last play piper tracked and then go down from there?
@natalie.sh: we kind of do this already, right now we only get the last 5 and submit unsubmitted tracks, but i’d say if there’s more we should iterate yeah
